COMMISSIONING SUPERINTENDENT
Locations: Buffalo, NY and Lubbock, TX
Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 Base Salary + Full Benefits
Travel: Project-Based Assignment | Up to 100% Travel
Travel Expenses: Company-paid lodging, meals, transportation, and project-related expenses

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
The successful candidate is a field leader who takes pride in keeping work moving. This person is comfortable coordinating technicians, contractors, vendors, and startup crews while making sure testing is staged, witnessed, documented, and completed safely.
You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy being in the field, solving problems in real time, leading from the front, and helping drive critical systems from construction through commissioning and turnover.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead daily field commissioning activities across active data center construction projects.
• Coordinate technicians, contractors, vendors, startup crews, and project stakeholders.
• Support startup, pre-functional checks, functional performance testing, load bank testing, and integrated systems testing.
• Run field huddles, readiness walks, look-ahead coordination, and daily progress updates.
• Track field issues and deficiencies, drive corrective action, and verify closure.
• Ensure testing is properly staged, safely executed, witnessed, and documented.
• Support turnover and closeout by maintaining field commissioning documentation and readiness status.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years of relevant data center commissioning experience.
• Experience supporting startup, functional testing, and integrated systems testing.
• Strong field leadership and contractor coordination skills.
• Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical critical infrastructure systems.
• Ability to work full-time on active construction sites with up to 100% project-based travel.
