Digital Denture Designer | Orange County, CA

Full-Time. Up to $45/hr + Sign-on Bonus Available!

A highly respected dental lab in Orange County is seeking a Digital Denture Designer with expertise in Exocad and/or 3Shape. This role focuses on digitally designing complete and partial dentures for both traditional and implant-retained cases. What You’ll Be Doing

• Design complete and partial dentures using Exocad and 3Shape platforms
• Virtually set up teeth for immediate, conventional, and implant-retained overdentures
• Align digital scans from edentulous models, wax rims, bite registrations, and opposing arches
• Execute designs based on Rx forms, clinical notes, and internal lab standards
• Prepare files for 3D printing or milling, ensuring each design is fully production-ready
• Revise and improve designs based on internal feedback or clinician instructions
• Maintain organized file systems and document each case accurately in lab software
• Collaborate across departments to resolve design or workflow challenges
• Stay current on digital denture innovations, CAD software updates, and new materials

What You Bring

• 2+ years of hands-on experience designing removable prosthetics using Exocad and/or 3Shape
• Strong understanding of complete and partial denture workflows, both digital and traditional
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM tools, digital scan alignment, and baseplate/tooth setup
• Familiarity with 3D printing, milling, or injection processes for denture fabrication
• Exceptional attention to anatomical detail and esthetic judgment
• Comfortable working independently and in collaboration with a technical team
• Strong communication, file management, and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume digital dental lab
• Familiarity with nesting and prepping for 3D printed denture bases or tooth arches
• CDT certification or formal prosthetic design training
• Exposure to fixed prosthetics, implants, or cross-functional lab workflows

Compensation

• $25 to $45 per hour, based on experience
• $1,000 to $2,000 sign-on bonus available
• Relocation assistance may be offered to highly qualified candidates
