Interior Designer – JRP Design & Remodel

We are seeking an Interior Designer who can lead residential projects with creativity and precision. We’re building a dynamic, high-performing design team and are looking for designers who are ready to contribute to luxury projects and grow with us. The Role 

As an Interior Designer, you’ll collaborate with clients, engineers, estimators, and project managers to bring residential remodels and custom homes to life. You’ll help drive projects from concept through construction, ensuring creativity, precision, and attention to detail every step of the way. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Create and present conceptual designs, layouts, and 3D renderings 
• Develop construction documents, specifications, and project schedules 
• Select and source materials, finishes, and fixtures 
• Lead client presentations and manage ongoing communications 
• Conduct site visits and field measurements 
• Collaborate with project stakeholders 
• Support team members and contribute to a collaborative work environment 

What We’re Looking For 

• Degree in Interior Design or related field preferred 
• Minimum of 5 years of professional single-family residential design experience, particularly with luxury or high-end projects 
• Proficiency in drafting and 3D rendering software (Chief Architect a plus) 
• Tech-savvy with strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills 
• Exceptional eye for design, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset 
• Relatively close to our Westlake Village office (on-site work required) 

Compensation & Benefits 

• $33.65–$52.88 per hour, depending on experience 
• (Equivalent to approximately $70K–$110K annually based on full-time hours) 
• Simple IRA with employer match
