We are currently in search of a Development Database & Analytics Manager for a K–12 Independent School. The position is onsite in New York, NY. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity.

SCHEDULE: Full time – M to F – 9am to 5pm

DURATION: Permanent

SALARY: $80,000 - $90,000/year

Reporting to the Director of Development, the Development Database & Analytics Manager will play a key role in supporting the school’s fundraising efforts through expert oversight and management of the Raiser’s Edge database. This role ensures accurate data entry and reporting, donor and gift tracking, integration with related systems, and analysis to drive development strategies. You’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders—from Development and Admissions to the Business and Communications offices, ensuring strong data integrity and insight across departments.


Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on Raiser’s Edge experience, including building queries and managing data
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Background in data analysis with the ability to translate metrics into actionable development strategies
  • Experience reconciling development records with business offices and responding to audits
  • French language skills are a plus, but not required


How You Will Spend Your Day:

  • Manage and maintain the integrity of the school’s Raiser’s Edge database
  • Process all contributions, including Annual Fund, Major Gifts, and Gala donations
  • Maintain accurate constituent records with up-to-date biographical and giving data
  • Create and distribute timely gift acknowledgments and tax receipts
  • Generate weekly, monthly, and biannual reports for the Development and Business Offices
  • Reconcile financial records with the Business Office and assist with audit requests
  • Collaborate on the integration of Development-specific tools and event software
  • Provide lists and data for mailings, communications, and the annual Report of Giving
  • Lead data entry training sessions and ensure adherence to data management protocols
  • Monitor data accuracy, implement clean-up strategies, and update policies as needed
  • Coordinate cross-departmentally to ensure data consistency and effective use
  • Support Development events and broader team goals
  • Uphold confidentiality and ethical data management standards
