We are currently in search of an Integrated Wellness Clinician for the District Alliance for Safe Housing (DASH). The is a full-time, hybrid position based in Washington, DC. This is a permanent assignment.

The Integrated Wellness Clinician supports the mental and emotional wellness of program participants by providing trauma-informed therapeutic services and clinical supervision to direct service staff. This individual is embedded within either the Community Housing or Intake & Residential Programs and plays a central role in care coordination, crisis response, and ensuring survivor-centered, trauma-informed service delivery. The Clinician will provide individual and group therapy, participate in interdisciplinary care planning, and partner with external providers to support participants' behavioral health needs.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Master’s-level licensed Social Worker, Counselor, or Psychologist with an active, unrestricted clinical license (e.g., LMSW, LICSW, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist) in DC.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including 3+ years of supervisory experience in a behavioral health or social service setting.
- Eligible to provide clinical supervision in the District of Columbia.
- Deep experience working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and other trauma.
- Skilled in trauma-informed, harm-reduction, and strengths-based care models.
- Collaborative and strategic; able to work with Core Service Agencies and external mental health providers.
- Experienced with both individual and group therapy, crisis support, and wellness education.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in clinical documentation, program evaluation, and care planning.
- Culturally responsive and committed to inclusive practices.
- Bilingual skills (Spanish, Amharic, Vietnamese, Mandarin, or ASL) are a plus.
- COVID-19 vaccination is required unless exempt.
How You Will Spend Your Day:
Direct Services (65%)
- Provide individual therapy, group facilitation, and crisis intervention.
- Integrate behavioral health goals with housing and economic support services.
- Participate in participant care conferences and wellness planning.
- Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with ethical and organizational standards.
- Identify service delivery gaps and advocate for necessary resources.
Clinical Supervision & Oversight
- Conduct bi-weekly clinical supervision with direct service staff.
- Ensure adherence to trauma-informed best practices and ethical standards.
- Provide training on behavioral health, crisis response, and trauma care.
- Support care teams with complex cases and service coordination.
Resource & Partnership Management (15%)
- Build relationships with behavioral health providers, healthcare partners, and community supports.
- Coordinate participant referrals for psychiatric services and assessments.
- Represent DASH in community meetings and partner events.
Team Coordination & Non-Managerial Leadership (20%)
- Contribute to strategy and continuous improvement of services.
- Foster a collaborative, culturally responsive team environment.
- Participate in DASH’s in-house professional development institute.
- Mentor staff and help build internal capacity around trauma-informed care.
