Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant

📍 Location: Greenwich, CT - 4 Days Onsite (Hybrid)

đź’Ľ Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000

đź•’ Urgency: Immediate Hire – Newly Created Role


A fast-paced, well-established firm is seeking an organized and eager-to-learn Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join the team. This hybrid role supports both accounting operations and general office administration, reporting directly to the Managing Partners and Operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Assist with payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Monitor expenses and assist with budgeting
  • Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
  • Answer phones, schedule meetings, and handle correspondence
  • Order office supplies and coordinate with vendors
  • Provide day-to-day support to internal staff
  • Help streamline office operations and support project tracking


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
  • Prior bookkeeping experience required
  • Strong QuickBooks and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to balance multiple responsibilities and prioritize effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Familiarity with payroll and HR support tasks a plus
  • Must maintain discretion with confidential information
