We are seeking Advance Practice Providers (APP) for full-time roles in a primary care team-based care model alongside physicians, advanced practice providers, behavioral health specialists, and clinical support staff. Position Details

Title: Nurse Practitioner (NP); Physician Assistant (PA)

Setting: Outpatient primary care

Scope of practice: Paneled provider

Patient Population: All ages; will consider Adult Medicine providers

Schedule: full time, 4-5 days/week

Call: approximately 1:8 weekend call coverage; phone only

Requirements:
- 2 years of independent practice experience
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Possess or able to obtain license to practice in the State of Rhode Island
- Possess or able to obtain active DEA license
- BLS certification required
Preferred Requirements:
- Nurse Practitioner -- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP); will also consider Adult Care (ANP), Geriatrics (GNP), Adult-Gerontology Acute Care (AGACNP), or Primary Care (PCNP)
- Physician Assistant -- primary care focus
- Clinical experience serving low-income and uninsured patients
- Understanding of the nuances of the local community health market and social resources available to patients
