Overview:


A leading multi-discipline engineering design and consulting firm is looking for a Project Engineer with a strong background in civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure design.


This role is based in Fort Mill, SC, and provides a significant opportunity for career advancement within a dynamic firm renowned for its innovative project solutions!

 

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and strengthen relationships with project teams, clients, contractors, and review agencies.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior team members, enhancing team skills and project outcomes.
  • Assist the Department Manager with the preparation of engineering proposals and monthly invoicing.
  • Manage project and staff schedules to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Act as a potential point of contact for land development projects, coordinating with all parties involved.
  • Execute civil site/land development design, permitting, and construction observation for various project types using Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Conduct detailed technical design calculations and prepare associated documentation.
  • Participate in meetings and perform site visits, providing comprehensive field reports.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering design and project management.
  • PE Licensure or the ability to obtain licensure in North Carolina and/or South Carolina is preferred.
  • Proficiency in advanced design software, including Civil 3D, ICPR, SedCAD, and HydroCAD.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to manage complex projects and interact effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and maintain a satisfactory driving record per company policy.
