Overview:
A reputable multi-discipline engineering design and consulting firm is looking for an experienced and dynamic Branch Manager to lead and expand its Cornelius, NC office.
With a strong presence in various surrounding markets, this role offers a significant opportunity for a professional with a strategic vision for growth and a solid background in civil engineering or related fields!
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance client relationships to expand the firm’s presence and service offerings in the region.
- Lead and manage a diverse team of department managers, project managers, engineers, technicians, and support staff.
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and diversify client and service portfolios.
- Oversee the financial performance of the office, including project contracts, invoicing, and P&L responsibility.
- Implement and leverage CRM tools to enhance business development and client management efforts.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality services and project deliverables within set timelines and budgets.
- Foster a collaborative and enjoyable work environment, promoting team cohesion and employee satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a closely related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in NC, or ability to obtain within three months of hire, or equivalent professional licensing.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience with proven leadership and business development skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage staff and interact with clients, governmental agencies, and the public.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, and industry-relevant technical software.
