Territory Representative

Position Summary:


Perform canvassing, selling, and maintaining a designated territory under the direction of a VP of Sales.


Responsibilities:


  • Present product line to potential customers in construction-related fields.
  • Travel within designated territory to make sales calls to current customers, competitor users, and new prospects.
  • Prepare and negotiate sales quotations, including used equipment.
  • Consult buyers on the best products and options for their needs.
  • Present value propositions.
  • Submit sales paperwork, including Weekly Activity Reports, sales quotations, sales agreements, expense reports, market data, and Salesforce input.
  • Work closely with distributors/dealers and provide sales support.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibits, and seminars, including the World of Concrete.
  • Travel 75% within designated territories/regions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


  • 2-5 years of experience with mobile hydraulic construction equipment preferred.
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer aptitude and proficiency in office and presentation software.
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
  • Available for frequent travel.


Education/Certification/Training:


  • BS/BA degree preferred.
  • Continuing education and on-the-job training provided.
