Position Summary:
Perform canvassing, selling, and maintaining a designated territory under the direction of a VP of Sales.
Responsibilities:
- Present product line to potential customers in construction-related fields.
- Travel within designated territory to make sales calls to current customers, competitor users, and new prospects.
- Prepare and negotiate sales quotations, including used equipment.
- Consult buyers on the best products and options for their needs.
- Present value propositions.
- Submit sales paperwork, including Weekly Activity Reports, sales quotations, sales agreements, expense reports, market data, and Salesforce input.
- Work closely with distributors/dealers and provide sales support.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibits, and seminars, including the World of Concrete.
- Travel 75% within designated territories/regions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience with mobile hydraulic construction equipment preferred.
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer aptitude and proficiency in office and presentation software.
- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
- Available for frequent travel.
Education/Certification/Training:
- BS/BA degree preferred.
- Continuing education and on-the-job training provided.
