Summary:


The Digital Project Lead will be responsible for ensuring a high customer impact of digital offerings in the region. This role requires an innovative, goal-oriented professional who can work well with cross-functional teams and build strong customer relationships.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Build close relationships with customers to identify pain points and derive ideas for new digital offerings.
  • Work closely with the central digital team to adapt the product roadmap to ensure customer fit of digital offerings in the region.
  • Coordinate project-based customer integration for development activities, including interviews and field tests.
  • Implement and evaluate prototypes and MVPs with lead customers in the region.
  • Lead the introduction and rollout of digital offerings for customers in the region.
  • Gather customer feedback from new products in the field and provide input for future improvements and new product requirements.
  • Carry out marketing and training activities to ensure awareness and onboarding of customers.
  • Provide continuous feedback to the central digital team to further strengthen customer impact.
  • Conduct periodic competition reviews (literature and/or live visits) for product comparisons.
  • Perform periodic job site visits and attend shows for information gathering purposes.
  • Support the introduction of new products, monitoring and coordinating with other functional groups after engineering release.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or required.


Qualifications:


  • Experience working with customers, dealers, suppliers, and other department employees.
  • Several years of professional experience in digital products and services preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to generate enthusiasm and implement ideas effectively.
  • Strong team collaboration skills, especially in an intercultural setting.
  • Organizational and priority scheduling skills.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • B2B product management experience is a plus.
  • Passport/Ability to obtain Passport required for international travel occasionally


Education/Certification/Training:


  • Degree in business administration, business informatics, industrial engineering, or a comparable field.
  • SAP or MAPICS training and/or experience is a plus.
  • Several years of professional experience in digital products and services preferred.
  • Mandatory safety training (see “Total Compliance Management” program).
  • On-the-job training.
