Overview:

Our client is looking for an Engineer in Training (EIT) with a strong foundation in structural engineering to support their project teams. The EIT will assist in the design, analysis, and inspection of structural systems under the mentorship of experienced engineers. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of projects and progress toward PE licensure.

Responsibilities:

• Support senior engineers in the structural design and analysis of projects using engineering principles and software.
• Assist in the preparation of design documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Participate in site inspections and contribute to structural assessments and reports.
• Engage in project coordination activities, ensuring compliance with timelines and specifications.
• Actively participate in professional development opportunities to advance technical and professional skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• EIT certification, aiming towards a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Up to 3 years of experience in a structural engineering role.
• Familiarity with structural analysis and design software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
