Overview:


A leading multi-discipline engineering design and consulting firm is seeking a Survey Project Manager to oversee surveying projects in the Greensboro, NC office. This role is ideal for a professional with extensive experience in managing diverse survey types and who possesses strong leadership capabilities!

 

Responsibilities:


  • Lead all aspects of the surveying and geomatics group, encompassing both field crews and office technical staff.
  • Engage in project initiation, planning, and development, handling unique and complex surveying challenges.
  • Maintain effective communication with key personnel and officials from various organizations and companies.
  • Supervise, organize, and schedule survey crews and staff to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Administer contracts, manage projects, and coordinate comprehensive survey assignments.
  • Utilize advanced surveying software and equipment to ensure high-quality project deliverables.

 

Qualifications:


  • Required licensure as a Professional Land Surveyor in North Carolina.
  • At least 5 years of progressive management experience in surveying, including utility, boundary, easements, topographic, construction, and as-built mapping.
  • Proficiency with Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and ArcGIS.
  • Experience with Trimble survey field equipment and survey data management using Trimble or Android devices.
  • Strong command of GPS technology and familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Access, and Google Earth.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must pass a drug screen, background check, and maintain a satisfactory driving record per company policies.
