Overview:


Our client is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee projects from planning to completion. This role involves managing schedules, budgets, and quality, while maintaining strong relationships with clients and contractors.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage all aspects of project management: budget, schedule, procurement, quality, and risk.
  • Identify and mitigate project and safety risks.
  • Develop project scope and estimates with stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and secure necessary permits.
  • Promote a strong safety culture on-site.
  • Implement project-specific safety and quality plans.
  • Oversee project execution within budget and schedule.
  • Manage engineering resources for design and documentation.
  • Handle commercial strategies, including vendor management and bidding.
  • Monitor spending and report progress to stakeholders.
  • Supervise on-site construction activities.
  • Prepare for project commissioning and handover to operations.
  • Maintain positive relationships with owners, unions, and subcontractors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project Management software.
  • Strong knowledge of project documents and OSHA requirements.


Skills/Abilities:


  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • Willingness to travel or relocate based on project location.
  • Capable of working in various outdoor conditions.
  • Ability to navigate job sites, including stairs and scaffolding.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and minimal supervision needed.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
