THE GIST:

Our client, a venture capital firm focused on the tech startup space, is seeking an Executive Assistant to support their Founder. This person will act as a true right hand—owning calendar management, coordination across portfolio companies and partner VC firms, and helping keep day-to-day operations running smoothly as the firm scales. The ideal candidate is someone who can bring their expertise to the role on day one, ideally with a background in venture capital or early stage tech startups.

THE NITTY GRITTY:

• Own complex scheduling and calendar coordination across multiple entities, portfolio companies, and external partners
• Serve as a central point of communication between the founder, partner VC firm, and internal teams
• Support key initiatives, including launching new collaborations and helping stand up a new SF office (leases, logistics, office setup)
• Plan and schedule dinners, team events, and offsites (partner VC firm has an event team to collaborate with)
• Light travel booking & coordinating of logistics (mainly domestic)
• Process & track expenses
• Support with light personal tasks like booking appointments
• Assist with other ad hoc tasks & projects, as needed

THE ESSENTIALS:

• 5+ years of executive support experience
• Experience supporting executives in venture capital or tech startups highly preferred
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and excellent communicator
• Professional demeanor with the ability to positively represent the firm in all interactions
• Adaptive & collaborative nature
• Comfortable operating in a growing, dynamic environment.

LOCATION: Half Moon Bay, CA (Onsite)

COMPENSATION: $150k to 190k base salary + equity + benefits (exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, and expertise)
