The IT Manager Position

The IT Manager is responsible for leading all day-to-day IT operations across the organization while establishing standardized processes, secure infrastructure, and reliable support services at every location. This includes managing networks, systems, help desk activities, hardware and software procurement, cybersecurity programs, vendor relationships, budgeting, and compliance. The role ensures systems remain efficient, secure, and aligned with company standards, while fostering a collaborative and solution-focused technical environment.

 

The IT Manager plays a key role in supporting the company’s mergers and acquisitions strategy. This position leads IT due diligence, integration planning, and execution to ensure seamless onboarding with minimal business disruption. The role continuously monitors integration progress, communicates updates to executives, and helps identify and mitigate IT-related risks throughout the acquisition lifecycle.

 

Experience, Skills, and Abilities of the IT Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of IT management experience, preferably across multiple locations
  • Experience with M&A, IT integration, or large-scale IT projects is strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure, cloud environments, cybersecurity, networking, and enterprise systems
  • Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, or PMP
  • Experience with centralized IT management and cybersecurity frameworks

 

Compensation & Benefits for the IT Manager

The position is full-time and permanent with a competitive salary based on skills and experience. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and paid time off.

 

While the position is fully remote, it does include travel (approximately 40%) throughout the Midwest region to various locations that are in line with business needs and key meetings.
