Remote Teleradiologist – Independent Contractor (Flexible Shifts: Early Morning, Evening, Night, Weekday Day, Weekend)


Location: Fully remote (work from anywhere in the US, with shifts adjustable to your local time zone)

Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099 basis) – Part-time / Flexible / PRN-style coverage / Full time


Shift Options: Short to medium blocks (typically 3-4 hours, flexible up to 5-8+ hours depending on role), available across:

  • Early Morning: e.g., 4:00 AM – 7:00 AM EST (adjusted for your zone, such as 1:00 AM – 4:00 AM PST) – weekdays, weekends, or mix.
  • Evening/Night: e.g., 11:00 PM – 3:00 AM EST (or 8:00 PM – 12:00 AM PST equivalent) – short 3-4 hour blocks.
  • Weekday Day (M-F): Flexible daytime or select evening blocks, 4-8+ hours, customizable (e.g., per click, rotations, consecutive days).
  • Weekend: Flexible day/evening blocks, 4-10 hours (e.g., 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM EST equivalents), short or longer, recurring or as-needed.


You can choose one shift type or combine multiple for recurring or supplemental coverage—no long overnight commitments required in most options.


Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality, rapid-turnaround interpretations of urgent/STAT and routine diagnostic studies. Case mix includes general radiology, ED/inpatient, neuro, body, MSK, pediatrics across primary modalities (CT, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound, etc.). Focus on efficient remote reading with balanced volumes.


Requirements:

  • Board certification or eligibility in Radiology.
  • Active, unrestricted medical license(s) in good standing (multi-state support provided—we assist with additional licensure, credentialing, and hospital privileges).
  • Experience/comfort with urgent/STAT case interpretation.
  • Reliable, distraction-free home workspace with strong/high-speed internet.
