Quality Assurance Manager

We’re seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager, on-site in Harrisburg, OR, to lead and enhance our quality management systems for the manufacturing of decorative laminates and composite panels used in aerospace, marine, and mass transit applications. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a well-established quality program while driving continuous improvement and ensuring products meet the most rigorous industry standards.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee all inspection, testing, and certification processes to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.
- Maintain and optimize the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
- Manage and mentor a team of quality personnel, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, sales, and procurement teams to resolve quality issues and drive process improvements.
- Conduct and coordinate internal and external audits, supplier quality reviews, and corrective action follow-ups.
- Validate test reports, certificates of conformance, and ensure product traceability.
- Lead Material Review Board activities, manage non-conforming products, and coordinate customer rejections.
What We’re Looking For:

5+ years’ experience in a quality-focused role, ideally in aviation or a related manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and develop teams.
- Proficiency in ISO 9001 (AS9100 preferred) and a track record of managing successful audits.
- Technical proficiency with mechanical, chemical, and analytical processes.
- Skilled in SAP, MS Office, and quality data reporting tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
