Backend Engineer (Rust) – Client-Facing B2B Platform

Location: New York (Remote considered for exceptional talent)

On behalf of our client in the digital asset industry, we’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help build a new client-facing B2B platform designed for institutional clients.

This platform brings multiple products together into a single, intuitive experience — creating a true one-stop shop for trading, lending, staking, and more. You’ll be working at the heart of the platform, collaborating closely with engineering leadership and the business to shape something that really matters.

What you’ll be doing

• Building and evolving the backend of a client-facing exchange platform
• Connecting products such as Market Making, OTC Spot, Staking, and Loans into one unified system
• Helping to align data models across teams and tools that have traditionally operated in silos
• Writing robust, secure, and scalable Rust services
• Working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to turn business needs into practical solution

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years’ experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Rust in production
• Background in trading or exchange platforms, ideally institutional
• Solid understanding of the digital asset or crypto finance space
• Someone who enjoys digging into complex systems and improving them
• Clear, confident communicator with a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset
