A leading name in institutional crypto trading is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to help build and scale their core trading and finance systems.

This is a hands-on backend role working on real-time, mission-critical systems that power trading, balances, and profit & loss across major crypto exchanges. You will collaborate closely with the trading, finance, and operations teams to develop systems that are in daily use in live production.

What you’ll be doing

• Integrating internal systems with leading crypto exchanges
• Building and improving core trading and post-trade platforms
• Developing systems for:
• Trade booking
• Profit & loss (PnL) tracking
• Balances and positions
• Automating data checks across exchanges, banks, and internal systems
• Designing clean, reliable APIs and data feeds
• Supporting and improving systems running in live production environments

What we’re looking for

• Backend engineering experience within crypto, fintech, or trading systems
• Hands-on experience integrating with exchange APIs
• Strong coding skills in Go, Java, C++, C#, or Rust
• Working knowledge of Python and/or TypeScript
• Solid understanding of Postgres, APIs, and message queues
• Experience building systems in cloud environments
• Comfortable working in fast-moving, trading-focused environments

Nice to have (not essential)

• Experience with PnL, accounting, or risk systems
• Background in regulated financial services
