Senior Search Consultant – North America

We are a specialized executive search and human resources consulting firm dedicated to the mining industry. We partner with mining companies across North America to identify, attract, and retain top talent, providing customized recruitment solutions built on industry expertise, trusted relationships, and a commitment to long-term client success.
We are seeking two experienced Senior Search Consultants to join our North American Delivery team. This is an opportunity to manage end-to-end recruitment assignments, build trusted relationships with clients and candidates, and contribute to the continued growth of the company across the North American mining market.
What you’ll do
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job briefing and search strategy through to interviewing, offer management and placement.
- Lead job-scoping discussions with hiring managers and provide informed recruitment and market advice.
- Source and engage high-quality candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, professional networks, referrals and creative sourcing strategies.
- Conduct detailed candidate interviews and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations to clients.
- Build trusted client and candidate relationships while delivering an engaging and professional recruitment experience.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and coordinate reference, background and pre-employment checks as required.
- Develop professional networks, represent the company at industry events and identify opportunities to promote our broader services.
- Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to consistent recruitment practices, process improvement and team success.
What you bring
- Ideally three to five years of experience in talent acquisition or end-to-end recruitment.
- At least two years of experience within a recruitment agency or search environment.
- Experience recruiting mid-management, senior leadership, technical or operational positions.
- Knowledge of the mining, resources, heavy industry or another technical sector.
- Strong sourcing, interviewing, stakeholder-management and negotiation capabilities.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems and other recruitment platforms.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments and competing priorities.
- The ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a remote and geographically dispersed team.
Work environment and travel
- Applicants must have unrestricted working rights in the country in which they are applying. Some travel may be required to attend client meetings, networking activities and industry events.
