Summary of Responsibilities 

The Estimator plays a key role in shaping projects before they begin by developing clear, reliable pricing and well-defined scopes that support a seamless handoff into production. This position partners closely with other departments, project developers, designers, and trade partners to ensure alignment with company standards, while continuously refining pricing information and staying current on materials, methods, and industry best practices. 

Essential Functions 

• Develop clear, accurate estimates, scopes, and specifications for residential remodeling projects 
• Review drawings and design documents to identify scope gaps, risks, and constructability considerations 
• Collaborate with project developers, designers, and production teams to align scope and expectations 
• Coordinate with trade partners to gather pricing, clarify scope, and confirm assumptions 
• Prepare and support project handoffs from preconstruction to production 
• Maintain current pricing data, cost assumptions, and estimating standards 
• Utilize estimating tools and technology to support accuracy and consistency 
• Stay informed on materials, methods, and industry best practices relevant to residential remodeling

Education, Experience, and Skills Required 

• 3-5+ years’ experience in Estimating 
• Residential Remodeling experience (required) 
• Tech Savvy (Buildertrend, M365, etc.) 

Compensation  

• $75,000-$95,000  
• Gross profit performance bonuses
