What we're looking for 

Our client, a performance marketing agency managing over $1M per month in ad spend across Meta and AppLovin, is looking for a UGC Video Editor to join their growing in-house creative team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, feedback-driven environments and knows how to turn raw UGC into performance-driven video ads. You’ll work with DTC and lead generation brands in industries such as e-commerce, legal, and real estate, using data to inform creative choices and scale what works.

Responsibilities

• Edit direct-response video ads, UGC mashups, and branded content for Meta and AppLovin.
• Create multiple hooks and variants per concept to support testing at scale.
• Apply advanced editing techniques like jump cuts, speed ramps, motion tracking, masking, and smooth transitions.
• Layer in captions, motion text, CTAs, and brand elements across multiple aspect ratios, including 1:1, 4:5, 9:16, and 16:9.
• Review performance data and adjust pacing, structure, and visual style based on campaign results.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience editing video ads for e-commerce or performance marketing.
• Hands-on experience creating UGC ads for Meta.
• Strong proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Familiarity with direct-response frameworks and performance metrics like CTR, CPM, and ROAS.
• Availability to overlap at least 4 to 5 hours with Pacific Time.

Nice to have:

• Experience with motion graphics or basic animation.
• Skills in preparing static ads for DSPs like AppLovin.
• Comfortable with tools like Runway, Descript, or ReCut.
• A good eye for writing or refining hooks and CTA copy.
