Responsibilities:
• Preparation of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns and workpapers
• Delegate work to tax associates and interns • Serve as technical resource for tax associates and interns
• Review of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns prepared by tax associates
• Maintain regulatory compliance and create procedures for tax preparation
• Collaborate with senior managers in handling tax matters
• Provide tax planning services to individual and corporate clients
• Participation in firm wide and tax department administrative projects
• Research tax issues and provide assistance with tax audits
• Review federal, state and local tax notices and draft responses
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
• Review financial records, income statements, and expenditures
• Help clients effectively manage their tax obligations proactively
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, taxation, finance, business or related field
• 2-5 years of tax experience in public or private accounting
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Self-motivation
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• CPA is preferred Job Type:
