About the Role and Your Impact:

This mission-driven organization is looking for a dedicated Accounting & Finance leader, whose impact on driving standardization, efficiency and process and procedure creation will be the force that moves it forward into the future. This is an on-site position, where much of the programming takes place. Imagine yourself surrounded by sports, creative arts, and nature as well as dedicated colleagues that share your drive to make an impact.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee accounting to ensure accurate financial records, reconciliations, payroll, and reporting.
  • Lead budgeting and cash flow projections, ensuring financial stability and strategic growth.
  • Provide financial insights and reporting to leadership and the Board to drive decision-making.
  • Manage grants and donor-funded programs, ensuring compliance and financial transparency.
  • Maintain strong relationships with banks and external partners.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, tax filings, and audits are seamless.
  • May oversee HR functions, fostering a positive and compliant workplace.


What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
  • Expertise in QuickBooks, budgeting, and grant management.
  • Experience working with or sitting on a Board of Directors is ideal but not required
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and problem-solve.


Base Compensation Range:  $165,000 - $175,000
