Able to write FF&E specifications
Increase required technical and functional skills in related technologies, which may include Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, Rhino, Enscape, Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign, Spexx and other 3D modeling and rendering programs
Lead small team on a task-by-task basis
Participate in professional development activities and initiatives, both inside and outside the firm
Build and maintain a network of connections and resources within the industry; attend events central to the firm’s strengths and goals
Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
A degree in Interior Design from an accredited college or university
5 + years of experience in a professional environment; experience in workplace, hospitality, multifamily residential, or mixed use design is preferred
Proficiency in Revit, CAD, Rhino, Photoshop, InDesign, Enscape, 3D modeling and rendering programs; experience in Revit is preferred
Knowledge of materials, project design, and preparation of construction documentation
Experience in all conventional aspects of interior design
Experience in all phases and aspects of a project is desirable
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Able to work in a collaborative, professional manner
Able to problem solve with attention to detail and a desire to learn
Able to work independently with little supervision
Must be an NCIDQ certified interior designer or on track to becoming a certified interior designer
