Develop concepts based on given criteria; use feedback to modify designs
Work collaboratively with other team members as to best approach
Work on high-level tasks and deliverables for multiple projects simultaneously
Produce sets of production documents in both design development and construction documentation phases
Increase required technical and functional skills in related technologies, which may include Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, Rhino, Enscape, Sketchup, and other 3D modeling and rendering programs
Act as a project manager for small and medium projects or teams
Develop relationships and interact with clients
Communicate with client agents, subcontractors, and consultants
Participate in professional development activities and initiatives, both inside and outside the firm
Build and maintain a network of connections within the industry; attend events central to the firm’s strengths and goals
Mentor and develop team members
Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
A professional degree in Architecture from an accredited college or university
8-12 years of experience in a professional environment, preferably in the design of multifamily residential projects
Proficiency in Revit, CAD, Rhino, 3D modeling and rendering programs, experience in Revit is of particular importance
Knowledge of materials, project design, and preparation of construction documents
Experience in all conventional aspects of architecture
Experience in all phases and aspects of a project
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Able to work in a collaborative, professional manner
Able to problem solve with attention to detail and a desire to learn
Able to work independently with little supervision
