This position requires an individual who can work well in a team environment, execute on a number of projects concurrently and be a self-starter working with minimal supervision.


Typical duties will include:

  • Client Meeting and Field Investigation to retrieve existing information
  • Development of Design Drawings
  • Preparation of load calculations, mechanical plans, control sequences, mechanical details mechanical schedules, etc.
  • ​Provide engineering direction and guidance to mechanical design staff
  • Estimation of probable mechanical construction costs
  • Prioritizing and scheduling assignments with team to complete projects on time and on budget
  • Interfacing with other disciplines within the MEP team for coordination of project designs
  • Development of Technical Specifications and Standards
  • Study and Analysis of Mechanical Systems
  • ​Answering RFI’s, reviewing contractor submittals, and performing periodic site visits to determine compliance with construction documents, and resolve design issues during the construction phase


​This hands-on position requires a Mechanical Engineer who wants to contribute from start to finish. Their work will begin at the early conceptual stages and continue through to the preparation of as-built drawings. They will be working with an established team of professionals who are recognized in their respective fields of work and committed to providing quality services.


Minimum Requirements for the position are as follows:

  • B.S. degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering
  • 8-10 years mechanical building systems design experience
  • Active Professional Engineer License/EIT
  • Candidates must have experience in the categories of work listed above
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at various stages of design and construction
  • Ability to meet fast-paced deadlines while maintaining quality design
  • Highly proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Revit
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • LEED Accreditation is a plus
