We are looking for a Bridge Inspection Team Leader/Structural Engineer to join our team in Hunt Valley (Baltimore), MD. This position will lead inspection teams and will also be involved in the design of various structures in Maryland.

Responsibilities:

·        Lead inspection team(s) in the evaluation of bridges through above ground engineering inspections.

·        Document the condition of inspected structures and use technical writing skills to prepare engineering and inspection reports. Provide QA/QC for inspection reports.  

·        Assist the firm in business development efforts to generate new work.

·        Assist with the design, structural analysis and load rating of bridge structures.

·        Serve as the point of contact for clients, subconsultants, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring thorough and timely communication.

·        Provide mentorship and training to junior staff and new inspectors.

·        Manage the scheduling and coordination of inspections.

Requirements:

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline

·        5-15+ years of experience

·        PE license in Maryland or the ability to obtain license within 6 months

·        Prior experience with bridge design and inspection work

·        Physical ability to perform field inspections
