SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER / PROJECT MANAGER

Mission: Responsible for project management for selected projects. Also serves as mechanical engineer of record for selected projects, to include mechanical engineering conceptual design, development of design, preparation of construction documents, and performance of construction administration.

Responsibilities:

1. Performance of mechanical engineering for assigned projects including, but not limited to, research, engineering calculations, load calculations, energy modeling and preparation of studies, design documents and construction documents.

2. Coordination of mechanical system design with other engineering and architectural disciplines.

3. Selection of mechanical equipment and systems for assigned projects.

4. Construction administration duties including, but not limited to, submittal review, responses to Requests for Information and participation in construction progress meetings.

5. Observation of construction progress and preparation of field reports and punch lists.

6. Direction of engineering duties and assignments for project engineers and designers

Reports to: Mechanical Department Manager / Project Managers

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of Science in Engineering.

2. 7 to 15 years of demonstrated experience working as a mechanical project engineer in the consulting industry.

3. Professional Engineer

4. BIM (Revit) Proficiency.
