TELECOMMUNICATIONS PROJECT MANAGER
This position provides technical and design services in support of electrical design projects to produce construction drawings and specifications for our clients. Responsibilities include: • Leading the design effort on large and small projects • Manage design schedules and design team members • Ability to interact and work directly with Architects and Owners • Conduct preliminary evaluations • Prepare various reports and meeting minutes • Produce design documents (drawings and specifications) • Willingness to travel for projects nationally and internationally. • Design review to assure adherence to applicable codes, company standards, and project requirements.
Required Experience: • BS in Engineering preferred, but not required • 10-plus years of experience in telecommunications and special systems design including structured cabling systems, electronic security systems, and audio-visual systems • Extensive knowledge of TIA standards • Experience in federal/municipal government, healthcare or aviation preferred but not required • Must be competent in Revit and AutoCAD • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software • Must be able to work as part of a team and balance multiple projects • Must be self-motivated and work independently to complete work assignments • Must be able to travel to a project meeting, interface with clients, and speak confidently about telecommunications and special systems design. • Must be a US Citizen and have a valid driver’s license
