We’re looking for a Survey Technician to join our growing transportation team - someone who enjoys working outdoors, collaborating with great people, and seeing the direct results of their work in the field. This position can be based out of our Milwaukee or Madison, Wisconsin office, with travel to project sites throughout the region.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with field and office surveying tasks
• Operate and support the use of surveying equipment including robotic total stations, GPS units, and data collectors
• Support construction staking, topographic, and boundary surveys
• Download, organize, and manage field data, notes, and drawings
• Follow established safety procedures and work effectively in outdoor environments
• Communicate clearly with team members, clients, and field representatives
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of project teams

What You’ll Bring

Required

• Associate degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field OR a minimum of 2 years of related field experience
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and terrain

Preferred

• Basic knowledge of surveying tools, equipment, and field procedures
• Familiarity with fundamental math and surveying calculations
• Exposure to AutoCAD, MicroStation, or survey data processing software (a plus, not required)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow direction and safety protocols
• Dependable, organized, and proactive in the field
