Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Fixed Operations Director to oversee and manage the service, and parts, departments across our automotive dealership group. This role requires a strategic leader who can optimize department operations, drive revenue, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Service, Parts, and Body Shop departments, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and high customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, control expenses, and improve productivity.
  • Monitor departmental performance metrics and KPIs, including customer satisfaction, labor hours, sales, and gross profit.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and manufacturer requirements.
  • Manage and mentor departmental managers, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and growth.
  • Drive continuous improvement in customer service and retention strategies.
  • Develop and manage the department’s budget, including forecasting, staffing, and inventory control.
  • Collaborate with other dealership departments to ensure alignment with overall dealership goals and objectives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, manufacturers, and customers to support business growth and service excellence.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within Fixed Operations (Service, Parts, Body Shop) in an automotive dealership setting.
  • Strong knowledge of dealership processes and standards, including manufacturer requirements and service best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a track record of managing teams and driving results.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and develop strategies to optimize profitability and efficiency.
  • Knowledge of automotive repair, parts inventory management, and customer service.
  • Proficiency with dealership management software (DMS) and other related technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex operational issues.


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Fixed Operations Management or a similar role within an automotive dealership.
