We are hiring a Maintenance Technician at our Flippin, AR facility. This is a 1st shift job and the work hours are 8:00am-4:00pm. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance and/or repairs on all manufacturing or related process and facilities equipment and troubleshoot basic pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems.  


Typical Accountabilities:


Maintenance Technician duties include but are not limited to: 

  •  Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment. 
  • Provide emergency/ unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.  
  • Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities. 
  • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines. Working knowledge of and the ability to troubleshoot PLCs, (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Etc) 
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.  
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.  
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities. Maintain proper records regarding machine maintenance. 
  • Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.  
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.  
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. 
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.  
  • Responsible for maintaining compliance with ISO 9000 requirements.  
  • Communicate any opportunities for improvements to management.  


Skills and Experience:


  • Capable of troubleshooting pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems.  
  • Competence with performing basic machine shop operations.  
  • Basic understanding of electrical circuits.  
  • Ability to read and comprehend basic, pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical schematics.  
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues with PLCs 
  • Must have injection molding equipment maintenance or similar background  
  • 1+ years of relevant maintenance experience 


Physical Requirements:


 While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 20 pounds and occasionally lifts and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
