Role: Chief Financial Officer
Location: Hybrid – Chicago preferred, NYC acceptable (2–3 days in office)
Salary: Up to $210K (final compensation determined by experience and internal framework)
Our client is a premium air quality and wellness solutions company with over 30 years of engineering excellence. They were acquired by a global consumer goods leader in 2016 and currently generate $150–200M in annual revenue with double-digit year-over-year growth.
They are transforming from an air purification appliance business into a comprehensive health and wellness brand focused on air optimization — expanding into humidification, heating, cooling, and other indoor wellness solutions. The company operates globally with teams across North America, Europe, and Asia.
Position Overview:
The Chief Financial Officer will lead global finance operations across North America, Europe, and Asia, driving financial transformation, strategic planning, and operational excellence during a period of accelerated growth.
This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to the parent company’s global CFO, offering the opportunity to build scalable financial systems, modernize reporting, and guide international expansion. The ideal candidate brings both multinational corporate experience and hands-on leadership in high-growth environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead global financial strategy and ensure delivery of P&L and cash targets
- Modernize finance processes and implement scalable FP&A systems
- Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and digital transformation initiatives
- Manage global treasury, compliance, and risk functions
- Build and develop high-performing international finance teams
- Serve as primary liaison to the Board and parent company stakeholders
Qualifications:
This isn’t a maintenance role — it’s for a builder-operator CFO who combines strategic sophistication with hands-on execution. The right person thrives in complexity, moves fast, and brings both financial depth and entrepreneurial energy.

Have 3–5+ years in senior finance leadership, ideally in a global or multinational environment.

Have personally rebuilt or modernized finance functions — implementing FP&A systems, automating manual processes, and improving reporting visibility.

Are fluent in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis — and you’re known for turning complexity into clarity.

Are comfortable engaging directly with boards, CEOs, and global stakeholders — you know how to communicate numbers and strategy with equal confidence.

Lead with an owner mindset; you’re as willing to roll up your sleeves as you are to drive strategic initiatives.

Have experience in consumer goods, electronics, or durable product industries, where you’ve navigated supply chain, margin, and growth dynamics.
