ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Client seeks a visionary Director of Content to drive their content marketing strategy from concept to execution. This role involves overseeing a dynamic content team, crafting compelling narratives, and delivering impactful materials that elevate the brand’s presence and drive business growth. This leader will collaborate across departments to produce diverse, high-quality content tailored to various audiences and platforms.


OBJECTIVES

The Director of Content will develop strategies that deeply connect with the target audience, ensuring every piece of content informs, engages, and aligns with business goals. This position plays a pivotal role in enhancing customer journeys while strengthening the brand’s voice in the market.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Craft and execute a content strategy aligned with business objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive editorial calendar for seamless content delivery.
  • Research industry trends, market insights, and competitors to identify opportunities and guide content creation.
  • Publish engaging, SEO-optimized content across websites, blogs, social media, and email platforms.
  • Partner with designers and videographers to produce visually compelling, multimedia assets.
  • Track performance metrics like traffic, engagement, and conversions, leveraging data for strategic decisions.
  • Ensure brand consistency and adherence to style guidelines across all content.
  • Manage and organize content repositories for accessibility and future use.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends to refine and innovate content marketing strategies.


REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in content strategy, management, or a related role.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Expertise in creating engaging, SEO-friendly content for digital platforms.
  • Experience with CMS platforms and familiarity with HTML basics.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to assess content performance.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Insight into cultural nuances to connect with target audiences effectively.
  • Proficiency with content and social media tools like HubSpot or Buffer.


PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Advanced degree in Marketing, Communication, or Journalism.
  • Deep knowledge of content marketing trends, audience segmentation, and personas.
  • Expertise in SEO strategies and keyword research.
  • Familiarity with social media advertising and influencer marketing.
