Our Dental Clinic is looking for a General Dentist to serve patients in our Integrated Health Center. You would be a member of a patient care team consisting of Primary Care Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Dentists, Hygienists and Behavioral Health professionals to care for the patients of our communities in Central-Eastern Iowa.
We offer a strong compensation package with:
· Salary: Competitive salary range $165,000 - $170,000

Summary:
Responsible for overall patient dental services at the Center. Performs professional dental care in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Assists with administrative functions of planning and directing the dental programs within the dental department. Expected to consistently work to ensure patient satisfaction and maintain positive relationships with other dentists, physicians, and staff to help support the delivery of quality patient care. Performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission of our clinic.
Minimum Requirements:
· Completion of an accredited DDS or DMD program
· Completion of an accredited BDS or MDS and an accredited eligible residency program
· Possess or be eligible to obtain a license to practice dentistry in the state of Iowa
· Possess or be eligible to obtain a DEA certificate
Preferred Additional Requirements:
· Completion of an approved Dental Residency Program
o General Practice Residency (GPR) or
o Advanced Education General Dentist (AEGD)
o Pediatric Residency Program (Pedodontics)
· 1+ year experience treating patients in an outpatient dental program
· Experience working with underserved patient populations
o May be obtained during school clinical program, volunteering, mission work or by other means
