General Purpose: To ensure efficient, quality health care services, the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide medical screenings and primary care to our patients.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provides direct health care services to patients.
- Offers clinical consultation and arranges referrals to other providers and clinical staff.
- Reviews lab and x-ray results of other providers’ patient care results.
- Prescribes medications to patients, including counseling patients regarding the proper use and contraindications of medications as well as detecting and diagnosing adverse drug reactions.
- Evaluates medical charts to determine appropriate patient care follow-up and education regarding acute and chronic illnesses.
- Accurately and completely charts information regarding patient interactions into the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Participates in the after-hours telephone call system.
Non-Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Attend all staff meetings and other meetings as assigned.
Qualifications: Knowledge, skill, and ability:
- Demonstrated knowledge in primary care specialty.
- Ability to interact positively and build rapport with patients, coworkers, and/or external contacts.
- Ability to effectively and sensitively respond to the needs and concerns of a diverse patient population.
- Ability to work independently and organize work in a manner that ensures accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to collaborate with other providers and clinical staff to develop continual quality improvement procedures.
- Ability to handle sensitive information ethically and responsibly.
- Ability to protect the confidentiality of patient, employee, and business information.
- Proficiency in using a variety of computer software, including but not limited to the internet and MS Office Products.
- Knowledge of and ability to work with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Education or Formal Training:
- Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program and/or Physician Assistant Program.
- Board certification.
- CO License or eligibility for licensure.
- BLS certification.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a nurse practitioner/physician assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Two years post-licensing preferred. New graduates are encouraged to apply for future roles.

Compensation and Benefits: Competitive Compensation:
- Annual salary range: $108,000–$125,000, based on experience.
- Pay will be calculated based on years of experience since licensing and/or related to the specific qualifications of the role.
Schedule:
- Full-time position (1.0 FTE); accepting less than 1.0 FTE applications but prioritizing 1.0 FTE candidates.
