We’re supporting a long-established, UK-based healthcare communications group as they hire an Editor for their training and education team. The role is ideal for someone with around three years of editorial experience who enjoys detailed editing, taking ownership of projects, and working closely with a collaborative team. It’s mainly an editing position with exposure to digital and video content, plus the chance to support junior colleagues.

Our client is a leading healthcare communications organisation specialising in pharmacy-focused training, education, digital platforms, and professional content. They publish market-known titles and develop accredited learning used by pharmacy teams across the UK. Their training and education division is growing, and the team works on a mix of long-form digital learning, print, and video content. The culture is friendly, close-knit, and highly collaborative, with a strong track record of internal progression.



Responsibilities

  • Edit long-form training and education content with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Write supporting copy when needed
  • Take responsibility for full projects with light touch oversight
  • Work closely with pharmacists, designers, and digital colleagues
  • Contribute to digital and video content, advising on user experience for e-learning
  • Manage workflows, timelines, and quality checks
  • Support junior editorial team members with guidance and feedback
  • Bring new ideas for formats, improvements, and creative approaches
  • Liaise with internal teams and external freelancers to deliver agreed outputs



Qualifications & Experience

  • Around three years’ editorial experience (Editor or strong Assistant Editor level)
  • Strong B2B background preferred
  • Comfortable running projects independently
  • Experience across digital and print; video experience is a plus
  • Strong communicator who enjoys working closely with others
  • Team-minded, reliable, and happy to get involved across different tasks
  • Interest in learning, education, or agency-style work
