Integration and Test Engineer

Job location: Syracuse, NY – relocation assistance available


Travel: Minimal – 10% (May attend a field event once every 6 months/onsite testing at another vendor/customer meeting)


Work week: Monday through Friday


Salaried: $125,000 to $153,000 – some wiggle room for exceptional experience.

Education / Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or related fields


Required Experience:

  • Eight or more (8+) years of relevant experience
  • Experience with systems integration, test plans, and test procedures
  • Applied knowledge and experience with Python or other scripting languages
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, think independently, and overcome technical challenges
  • Ability to clearly communicate abstract concepts to team members verbally and in writing
  • Strong analytical and teamwork skills
  • Experience with test automation software and development

 

Preferred Experience (Not Required):

  • Experience with radar or EW concepts
  • Experience with PNT concepts
  • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering
  • Exposure to development tools such as JIRA, Bamboo, Confluence and Sharepoint

 

What You’ll Do

  • Collaboratively work with on-site and distributed cross-discipline project teams to support the development of new products, including those related to EW and UAS technologies
  • Provide essential support for the development and execution of automated unit, integration, and regression tests across our diverse products, ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of EW and UAS solutions
  • Offer valuable assistance for the development and execution of manual integration and regression tests where appropriate, addressing the specific needs of EW and UAS applications
  • Execute rigorous engineering dry runs and formal customer testing (both on-site and off-site) to validate the performance and functionality of our cutting-edge EW and UAS systems
  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis, support critical trade studies, and expertly prepare test briefings that encompass the intricate aspects of EW and UAS technologies
