Own and Optimize Finance Systems for a Global Retail Brand
We’re hiring a Finance Systems Manager with deep experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) to lead system configuration, reporting, and process improvements across a dynamic, multi-entity finance organization. This role is the cornerstone of finance technology—connecting the dots between accounting operations, reporting needs, and enterprise systems strategy. You’ll work cross-functionally with finance, accounting, IT, and retail stakeholders to ensure the system runs cleanly, supports business decisions, and evolves with operational complexity. If you thrive in both the technical and strategic sides of finance systems—and want ownership in a high-growth, global environment—this role is built for you.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for Microsoft D365 F&O financial modules
- Manage master data, entity structures, and financial dimensions across international subsidiaries
- Troubleshoot D365 issues and coordinate resolutions with external consultants and internal teams
- Oversee system upgrades, new module rollouts, and process improvements within the platform
- Ensure accurate data flows from POS, inventory, and accounts payable/receivable systems into D365
- Create custom reports and dashboards for finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Act as a liaison between finance, accounting, IT, and operations to ensure systems meet business needs
- Train end users, document workflows, and support ongoing system adoption
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations (F&O), ideally in a finance system admin or consultant role
- Strong understanding of financial close, GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, and intercompany accounting processes
- Experience supporting multi-entity, international organizations with complex structures
- Ability to translate accounting and finance requirements into technical system solutions
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting financial data flows and supporting system integrations
- Strong reporting and data modeling skills; Power BI or similar tools a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage cross-functional projects
Preferred Experience
- Background in retail, hospitality, or multi-location consumer-facing businesses
- Experience implementing or upgrading D365 modules and managing third-party vendor relationships
- Understanding of inventory, POS, and operational system integrations into D365
- Exposure to audit support and SOX compliance through financial systems
What You’ll Get
-
Base Salary: $130,000 – $150,000
-
Hybrid Flexibility: 2–3 days per week in a centrally located NYC office
- Benefits:
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage

- Generous PTO and holiday calendar
- Employee discounts, events, and wellness perks
- Career Exposure:
- Key role in enterprise finance transformation
- High visibility with executive leadership
- Cross-functional work with global finance and tech teams
