Travel: Minimal, occasional travel for leadership or compliance initiatives

Compensation: $175,000–$225,000 base salary

Bonus: Eligible for global annual bonus plan


Lead Operations at a High-Impact Manufacturing Site

We’re hiring a Site Manager to lead a critical manufacturing facility specializing in specialty chemicals. This is a senior leadership role with broad responsibility for driving safety, operational excellence, environmental compliance, and people development. You’ll oversee all plant operations—from production systems and maintenance to budget management and strategic execution.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and develop a high-performing manufacturing team to achieve operational goals
  • Champion and enforce Safety, Health, Environmental, and Energy (SHEE) programs
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives while ensuring zero waste and zero off-spec product targets
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001 certifications
  • Manage site operations budget, including capital and operational expenditures
  • Drive continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, and maintenance practices
  • Oversee implementation of process optimization and new product initiatives
  • Collaborate with corporate leadership to align site performance with broader business objectives


What You Bring

  • 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in the chemical or petrochemical industry
  • Proven success leading operational teams in a regulated, ISO-certified environment
  • Strong working knowledge of chemical process systems, safety regulations, and compliance frameworks
  • Excellent team leadership, communication, and performance management skills
  • Experience working in a union environment (highly preferred)
  • Familiarity with wastewater treatment operations is a plus
  • Strong budgeting and capital planning capabilities

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
  • MBA or formal training in general management preferred
