What You’ll Do
- Define and manage a comprehensive business strategy for global customer accounts, ensuring alignment between customer needs and internal product roadmaps.
- Lead pursuit of high-value design wins, new programs, and strategic bookings opportunities through collaboration with engineering, marketing, and executive stakeholders.
- Oversee bottom-up forecasting, contract negotiation, and the execution of key account plans.
- Establish and maintain executive-level relationships across all functional areas (engineering, operations, procurement, quality, etc.).
- Orchestrate global support teams including Applications Engineering and Business Development to strengthen strategic partnerships.
- Conduct regular customer reviews, manage ongoing service and quality issues, and drive the resolution of critical business challenges.
- Champion account initiatives internally while being recognized externally as the primary customer advocate.
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across all touchpoints.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA a plus)
- 12+ years of enterprise-level sales or key account management experience
- Deep industry knowledge in semiconductor, photonics, laser systems, or consumer electronics
- Proven experience working with global OEMs or Tier 1 customers in high-tech manufacturing sectors
- Background in technology-based solution selling and complex deal structures
- Prior exposure to laser applications or optical systems preferred
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and executives through data-driven insights and strategic planning
- Strong communication, forecasting, and negotiation skills
- West Coast-based with flexibility to travel up to 40%
