Work Setting: On-site when not traveling (50%+ travel required)

Travel: Up to 50%+ (domestic)

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 base salary + 20% target bonus

What You’ll Do

As National Sales Manager, you’ll lead and execute field-based sales strategy across the U.S., working closely with manufacturer’s reps and distributor partners to expand market presence, grow key accounts, and drive top-line revenue. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you’ll serve as the face of the company in the field while collaborating internally to optimize sales performance and customer success.

  • Manage the U.S. sales territory with significant field travel (50%+), including direct customer engagement
  • Coach and manage independent manufacturer’s rep firms; provide regular support, performance feedback, and accountability
  • Deepen relationships with national and regional distributors through training, joint visits, and strategic business reviews
  • Lead strategic growth initiatives to expand current customer relationships and penetrate new market segments
  • Conduct Voice of Customer outreach and relay insights to internal stakeholders
  • Provide in-field training and support to ensure reps and partners are fully equipped with product knowledge and sales tools
  • Use CRM and analytics tools to track performance, report results, and refine strategy


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of progressive B2B sales experience, with national or multi-regional scope
  • Demonstrated success growing sales through distributor and rep firm models
  • Proven ability to lead in the field — comfortable with 50%+ travel and hands-on sales coaching
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-facing skills across all levels
  • Self-starter mindset with high accountability and adaptability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); CRM (Salesforce preferred); Power BI a plus
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution sales preferred
