What You’ll Do
This onsite role offers the opportunity to shape quality operations for one of North America’s largest industrial manufacturers—an organization with 125+ years of history, owned by a Fortune 100 global leader. As a Quality Engineer, you’ll drive supplier quality improvements, audit compliance, and lead process efficiency projects in a complex heavy manufacturing environment.
- Conduct supplier quality audits from planning through execution, reporting, and corrective action tracking
- Analyze data to identify root causes and trends in quality issues
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to implement effective solutions
- Maintain internal quality systems, documentation, and compliance reports
- Lead or contribute to process improvement and reliability initiatives
- Travel to supplier sites (~50%) to perform inspections, training, and performance reviews
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 3–5 years of quality, manufacturing, or engineering experience (2+ years with strong internship experience may be considered)
- Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
- Exposure to supplier quality, audits, or compliance in an industrial environment
- High attention to detail and the ability to communicate across functions
