Pay: $30–$35 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (on-site, full-time)
What You Do
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing the electrical systems that keep our manufacturing operations running smoothly. You’ll handle a wide range of electrical maintenance duties with a focus on reliability, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including control circuits, motors, relays, and transformers.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and production machinery.
- Use multimeters and testing equipment to diagnose issues.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
- Maintain and update maintenance logs and documentation.
- Collaborate with mechanical technicians and production staff to ensure minimal downtime.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and electrical improvements as needed.
- Adhere to all safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout procedures and electrical safety codes.
What You Bring
Required:
- 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience with an electrical focus.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting AC/DC drives, PLCs, sensors, and motor controls.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations related to electrical work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Preferred:
- Associate’s degree or technical training in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
- Familiarity with automated packaging or plastic film manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or 5S practices.
- Previous experience in a GMP or ISO-certified manufacturing environment.
