Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Job Type: Full Time, Direct Hire

Location: Minneapolis, MN (On-site)

Compensation: $55,000 – $80,000 base salary + full benefits + path to promotion

Schedule: Monday to Friday, onsite


About the Role

We’re supporting a confidential search for a Human Resources Generalist to join a fast-paced distribution center in Minneapolis that is experiencing rapid growth. Following the successful launch of several high-profile partnerships, the site is now expanding its headcount and is in need of steady, hands-on HR leadership to bring order and clarity to a dynamic environment.

This is a high-impact, highly autonomous role where you’ll serve as the go-to HR resource onsite. You’ll be the culture carrier, problem-solver, and compliance partner—setting the tone for employee engagement and retention efforts. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in operational environments and is ready to step into a leadership path in short order.


Responsibilities

  • Lead all generalist HR responsibilities onsite, including onboarding, employee relations, policy enforcement, investigations, and compliance.
  • Partner with site leadership to foster a positive, people-first culture.
  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact, supporting associates across multiple functions.
  • Improve current processes and reinforce structure through visible, floor-level presence.
  • Drive accountability while maintaining trust and approachability.
  • Support training, events, and morale-building efforts.
  • Progress into a Supervisor-level role based on performance and site impact.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of HR generalist or people management experience, ideally in manufacturing, logistics, or distribution.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills—you know how to connect with everyone from the floor to leadership.
  • Ability to work independently, own outcomes, and drive change with minimal oversight.
  • High integrity and emotional intelligence; you understand when to push and when to support.
  • Ambition to grow: this is a pipeline role to become the site’s HR Supervisor.


Compensation

  • $55,000 to $80,000
