The Role:

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly motivated and organised Trainee Block Manager to join a professional property management team in Pinner. This is a brilliant entry-level opportunity for an individual eager to build a career in the property sector.

Working under the guidance of Senior Block Managers, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of a mixed portfolio of residential and commercial properties. This role balances office-based administration with active site inspections and contractor management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of residential and commercial blocks.
• Act as the primary liaison between clients and contractors to ensure repairs and maintenance are completed efficiently.
• Conduct regular property visits to monitor condition, identify defects, and ensure high standards of upkeep.
• Ensure all managed buildings adhere to health, safety, and fire safety regulations.
• Assist with the preparation and handling of service charge budgets and financial tracking.
• Maintain excellent communication with residents and stakeholders, ensuring a professional and responsive service.

Candidate Profile:

This role is ideal for a proactive "self-starter" who thrives in a varied environment. While property experience is a bonus, we are looking for the following core competencies:

• Strong verbal and written skills for high-level professional interactions.
• Exceptional time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• A logical and calm approach to resolving property and maintenance issues.
• Proficiency in standard IT packages; experience with property management software is advantageous.
• A full UK driving licence is essential for site visits and property inspections.
• A positive, "can-do" mindset and a genuine eagerness to learn the property management industry.
