We are currently recruiting for an experienced engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in Cheltenham. This is a hands-on, varied position, ideal for someone with both electrical and mechanical experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Role Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance across production equipment
• Fault find and repair machinery including PLC and CNC-controlled systems
• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and support continuous improvement activities
• Improve reliability and performance of machinery
• Support maintenance planning and ensure minimal downtime
• Maintain accurate maintenance records
• Ensure high standards of health & safety are followed at all times

The Person:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment
• Multi-skilled with either electrical or mechanical bias
• Experience with PLCs, CNC machinery, hydraulics and pneumatics (essential due to equipment on site)
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of health & safety practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
