Job Overview:

Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Drafter / Designer / Planner to join our team. This role will support civil engineering projects, focusing on land development, site design, and drainage planning. The ideal candidate will have experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D and a background in land development projects.

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed engineering drawings and site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Assist with land development projects, including grading, stormwater management, and utility design
• Work closely with engineers and project managers to prepare construction documents
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Revise drawings and layouts based on feedback from engineers and stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal teams and coordinate with outside consultants

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required
• 2+ years of experience in site/civil design and land development
• Knowledge of stormwater management, erosion control, and grading plans
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with engineers and project managers
